Year 12 Investigating Science Excursion

Today (10/2/25) our class went out to Bangalow to learn about and explore bush medicine used by First Nation Peoples in the Bundjalung nation. Delta Kay, a First Nations Elder, shared her knowledge surrounding medicinal native plants in the Bundjalung nation, traditional methods used to prepare and utilise the plants and conservation methods used by First Nations Peoples to successfully use and regenerate the environment. The excursion was inspiring and formed an integral part for informative knowledge for our next assessment task.
