ICT SUPPORT
If there is a need for ICT assistance simply email ictsupport@trinitylismore.nsw.edu.au This address is monitored and help will be provided where it can. It may not be possible for the ICT Department to ‘fix’ every problem as they are not physically present to diagnose the specific problem. They will do the best that they can, under the circumstances. If the issue is a hardware issue, I would encourage you to contact your place of purchase for assistance.

ENROLMENTS / FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
I am conscious of the difficult circumstances many of you may now be facing as a result of the growing list of COVID-19 restrictions. Some of your employers may have had to shut or you are in small businesses. I have heard first hand from a number of our current parents of the difficulties they are facing.
If your intention has always been for your child to continue their education at a Catholic School in their secondary years, do not let the current circumstances stop you. Please be assured that Trinity Catholic College will do what we can to support all our local families at this time. No child should ever miss out on a Catholic Education because of financial stress. Trinity Catholic College has a long tradition of assisting families in need and I am serious when I say we will do all we can to assist families seeking to enrol their child at the College.
Enrolments for 2021 are currently being accepted – application forms can be obtained by ringing 6627 6647, downloaded from the College Web Site or by emailing enrolments@trinitylismore.nsw.edu.au.
I would ask that you encourage anyone you are aware of who is looking to apply to enrol their child in 2021 to do so. I ask that you tell anyone you know is thinking of sending their child to the College that we are always open to discussing financial circumstances and don’t let these prevent them applying.
Take care and may God bless us all in this very difficult time for our country and the world.
Dear Members of the Trinity Community,
At the moment it is rather surreal coming to the College each day. There are less than ten students on site. The playground is empty. The classrooms are vacant. The campus is largely silent. It is a drastic shift to how the place looked and felt a few weeks ago.
If we fast-forward one week we will celebrate the most important moment in the Christian tradition: the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday. Matthew’s Gospel reads:
“And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women in reply, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said.”
As we journey through Week 11 of Term, and indeed Holy Week, whether physically on site or not, let the angel’s reply be our mantra - “Do not be afraid!” - as we continue to respond creatively, diligently and calmly to the uncertain realities of our present context.

YEAR 7-12 INTERIM REPORTS
Interim Reports will be issued to parents/carers late next week via the online parent portal. Please ensure you have your login details. If you have issues logging in to Lighthouse that persist after resetting your password, please email parentportal@trinitylismore.nsw.edu.au so we can arrange access for you.
STUDENTS PRESENCE ON LIGHTHOUSE
Last Friday a considerable amount of time was invested in tracking the presence of students on Lighthouse - and their individual patterns of accessing class pages. The vast majority of our students have accessed and are engaging, which is commendable. Some students have not visited any of their class pages and the College will contact the student to find out why and put in place appropriate supports, as necessary. This will continue when blended learning resumes in Term 2.
Take care,
Mr Jesse Smith - Assistant Principal - Learning & Teaching
Dear members of the Trinity Community,
The end of a Term like no other comes closer. I hope and pray that you and your families are doing well.
This week - The College is open in a supervisory capacity only. Consistent with all Catholic schools in the state, the week will be a professional learning week for Staff. Students who need to attend school will be supervised in a safe and supportive environment, but no new learning will be posted during this time. This week will provide much-needed breathing space and I encourage students to look after their wellbeing - take the opportunity to read a book, do some exercise and get back in touch with nature.
Updating details - Now, more than ever, we are needing to contact home from time-to-time. A message went out to all parents / carers who have a Lighthouse account last week. Included in this message were directions to access Lighthouse if you were having trouble. Within Lighthouse you are able to update your own details using ‘My Details’ and I would encourage people to check that the details we have are still accurate.
Kids central toolkit - more resources for assisting our young people with the current situation.
Take care and God bless,
Mr Travis Lyon - Acting Assistant Principal - Students & Staff
